Tales of 2 bowls

 

As I promised here is my go to basic oatmeal recipe for a hearty breakfast…… This oatmeal kept me full for almost 3.5 hours :0    that is a good thing when you are on the road, on the run and don’t want to eat unhealthy snacks throughout the day to keep you stuffed.  The difference of feeling full =) and stuffed 😦

 So the BASIC RECIPE ( foundation of the bowl) ( 1 serving)

1/2 cup of quick cooking oats

1 cup of milk/ almond milk/ or if feeling really healthy water

a pinch of sea salt

1 banana smashed ( preferably spotted for sweeetness)

2 to 3 tsp of greek yogurt ( plain)

 

And these are the Add-ins/ Topping to make it extra fancy

Divine oatmeal Chocolate Bowl

a handful of dark chocolate chips

a pinch of chia seeds

a pinch of ground coffee

a tsp of coconut butter and voila!!

 

Apple & Spice and everything nice oatmeal

1 apple ( diced in cubes)

1/2 tsp cinnamon and a pinch of cinnamon sugar

a pinch of brown sugar or agave

a tsp of coconut butter

a handful of raisins and voila!
