Cinna-mon French Toast with & Banana Nutter Smoothie

Cinna-mon French Toast

 

 

The most important meal of the day is El Desayuno (breakfast) 🙂

So I have been told, eat like a Queen in the morning and a princess at noon.

There is some logic to that. You will have more hours during the day for your metabolism

to break down a fulling breakfast and as the day progresses eat smaller portions.

So i decided to make myself Cinna-mon Cheese Bread French Toast and a Banana-Nutter smoothie.

Not very calorie friendly but it kept me full for hours and with plenty of energy throughout the day.

Here is the recipe guys, I actually used the Pan De Queso from Publix’s Bakery again.

Cinna-mon Cheese bread french toast

 

 

 French Toast Recipe

A hot skillet ( add butter or a bit of olive oil)

Cheese Bread ( Pan de Queso from Publix) I did 5 slices

Mix for french toast:

1 egg

1/2 tsp of cinnamon

1 tsp of vanilla extract ( I used mexican)

1 tablespoon of regular milk or almond milk

a handful of raisins

Toppings:

cinnamon sugar ( sprinkled on top )

sliced bananas

Agave nectar syrup or maple

Voila enjoy!!

 Banana-Nutter Breakfast Smoothie: for 3 servings

Just add in your blender

1/2 cup crushed ice

3/4 cups apple juice

3/4 cups of almond milk or soy

3 tsps of Greek yogurt ( I used Cabot greek)

1 tsp of peanut butter or almond butter

Toppings:

Chia seeds

cinnamon sugar
